American Tax Dollars Burnt In Afghanistan Drug War
So how does it feel knowing that your American tax dollars are being used to bribe drug farmers in Afghanistan to stop farming opium and cannabis?
On a good note….At least the U.S. government is finally beginning to admit what the Afghanistan/Iraq war is all about.
Not only is the war about oil but it’s also about drugs being farmed and trafficked from Afghanistan to the United States. Iraq is the forward base for the real drug war in Afghanistan.
Recently it has been stated that U.S. soldiers are now paying the Afghanistan drug farmers to destroy their own crops. I guess the government would also have us believe these farmers don’t know why their crops are so valuable either.
Let me be clear…..I’m all for slowing down the illegal trafficking of drugs into the United States. I don’t, however, believe it should be done by using my money to bribe Afghanistan farmers to burn their crops. I haven’t authorized this transaction nor have the American people.
If you want to stop the illegal drug trafficking from Afghanistan, Mexico and other high profile areas then all that must be done is the legalization to farm and market these drugs to responsible 21 and older adults inside America.
I swear…..we can really be a stupid and hypocritical nation sometimes. I mean everybody knows the damage and effects that alcohol has when abused yet we certainly allow it to be sold freely on the open market in America.
Some of the drugs we are fighting wars and killing over are less dangerous and more marketable than beer and wine.
If the drugs are made legal the abuse will go down. In addition, gang violence will go down in the U.S. and other surrounding areas.
The biggest benefit, however, is that the drug lords would no longer have a viable business in these third world countries. Americans would no longer have to dish out major tax dollars which are needlessly wasted to fund drug wars and pay farmers to burn their crops.
American tax dollars would be spent on better American interests.
